Global errors DIV style

Description

Specify the style for the DIV in which global errors are shown. It is sometimes useful to set the width of the DIV in which the global errors are shown.

The 'Global errors DIV style' property

Global errors are a form of error reporting where all error the error reports for the different controls in a component are displayed in one location. To implement this feature simply set the 'Error style' property to 'Global'. Clicking on the [...] button next to the 'Global errors DIV style' property opens a 'Style Editor' where you can define the CSS for the div, either through property settings or code.

When adjusting the 'Background-color' setting, erase the '-color' suffix from 'Background-color' in the Style Editor's CSS Text tab. If this setting does not just read 'Background' then the default background may override the new background color.
